About us

The Neuengamme Generations Podcast is a project by Amicale Internationale 
KZ Neuengamme’s Young Committee.

 

The Young Committee is founded with three key missions:

  1. Helping descendants
    find their way to the archives.
  2. Providing a network for
    like-minded individuals. 
  3. Commemorating the war
    atrocities in a modern fashion.

Swenja, Franci, Tom D. and Tom L. are 3rd and
 4th generation descendants 
of World War II survivors and board members 
of Amicale Internationale 
KZ Neuengamme’s Young Committee. They are also your hosts on the Neuengamme Generations Podcast.

Through the Neuengamme Generation Podcast they tell their own stories and provide a space for others to share their expertise, family history and feelings.

The present always seems to lean closer to the past than to the future. It is our duty the pass down facts and values.

No one can change the fate of those who have lost their lives. Their legacy, though, will stay with us eternally. We honour their losses by staying vigilant and critical towards the flow of time.
